We’re the team at Church Community Services (CCS), one of our community’s largest nonprofit organizations located at 907 Oakland Avenue in the heart of Elkhart. We were founded in 1968 by 11 area churches to help people. We are extraordinary at helping. You might be familiar with our empowerment program Soup of Success or perhaps you have gotten food assistance in our Food Pantry. Maybe you know someone who volunteers in one of our 40 plus community gardens or has received financial assistance.

Marketing Coordinator Intern: Launch Your Career While Making a Difference

Church Community Services (CCS) is looking for a creative, motivated, and community minded Marketing Coordinator Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, fundraising, event planning, communications, and graphic design while working alongside experienced nonprofit leaders.

Internship Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies.

• Support fundraising initiatives, including communications related to capital campaigns and donor engagement.

• Help coordinate and facilitate fundraising events and community events.

• Create graphics for social media, print materials, newsletters, and promotional campaigns.

• Assist with writing content for social media, newsletters, email communications, and marketing materials.

• Help maintain a consistent brand across all communications.

• Collaborate with staff and volunteers on marketing projects and community outreach efforts.

• Practice clear communication, organization, and effective delegation when working on team projects.

• Learn about nonprofit operations and contribute to mission-driven storytelling.
